No one likes to think that they may have an accident, but with the number of cars on the roads increasing, statistically an accident is likely at some point in your driving career. Be prepared and read through our six top tips below.

    Stop the car as soon as possible.

    Be sure to put your hazard lights on if possible.

    Ensure you and your passengers are unharmed and in a safe location.

    Once in a safe location call the authorities.

    REMAIN CALM

    Try to remain calm. It's normal to be shocked after an accident.

    TAKE NOTE

    Take note of the scene of the accident and if safe to do so, take photos.
