We are excited to be launching our new apprenticeship programme, to find two multiskilled technicians to join our Corby Repair Centre.
We’re working with industry charity, AutoRaise, to bridge the skills gap that the industry is currently facing; and invest time and effort in the future employability of young people.
We will be holding a Showcase event at our repair centre in Pilot Road, Phoenix Parkway, Corby in June. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out what the apprenticeship involves, meet the team, past apprentices and partners; plus gain some hands-on experience and take part in competitions.
Peter Randhawa, Group General Manager at Baldwins Repair Group says: “We are true advocates of apprenticeships and we are committed to offering young people great opportunities within the vehicle repair industry. Our past apprenticeship programmes have been extremely positive, and I am pleased to say that all our past apprentices have become full time members of staff with us.
“Many members of the Baldwins team started in the automotive and vehicle repair industry as apprentices and have successful worked their way up the career ladder; so, we understand just how rewarding and powerful apprenticeships can be.
“We realise the accident repair industry needs new blood and we’re committed to attracting enthusiastic individuals with new ideas, the passion to learn and the desire to succeed into the industry.
“As new technologies are continually coming into play and vehicles are transforming rapidly; it really is an exciting and interesting time to be part of the accident repair industry.”
