Baldwins Repair Group wins BSI Kitemark Excellence Award

Baldwins Repair Group is delighted to have won the prestigious BSI Kitemark Excellence Award at the British Bodyshop Awards ceremony on Thursday 10 May.

The Award category – only in its second year – recognises bodyshops that have excelled in the way they have promoted the Kitemark certification to industry peers and customers; and showcased the positive impacts it has for the business.

Peter Randhawa, group general manager at Baldwins Repair Group said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this prestigious award. To be recognised by an organisation as highly regarded as BSi is a huge triumph for us, as it acknowledges just how seriously we take being a Kitemark accredited bodyshop.

“This accolade shows how dedicated we are to informing customers we hold a recognised symbol of safety, quality and expertise; as this in turn helps to build consumer confidence, reassurance and satisfaction. I am so proud of our team as it also demonstrates their commitment and hard work – it’s a credit to them.

“We were up against some tough competition – congratulations to all finalists. To even be considered for this award reassures us all that we are doing the right thing for industry standard.

“As a winner, this now takes our previous Kitemark endorsement to a new level and enables us to uphold our vision of ‘Striving for Excellence’.”

Rob Hine, Head of Commercial Engagement at BSI Kitemark said: “The Kitemark excellence award is always hotly contested. The level of applicants is consistently high and all the organisations shortlisted should be extremely proud of their achievements.

“It was my absolute pleasure to present the award to Baldwins Repair Group this year and we look forward to working more closely with them to promote the value of the Kitemark to their customers.”

We are celebrating 15 years of operation!

2018 sees us enter our 15th year of operating as a bodyshop repair business.

Our first site, based in Aylesbury, was purchased by Steve Warner and his business partners in 2003. Today, Steve is the 100 percent shareholder. He continues to run the Group and manage it alongside Group General Manager Peter Randhawa.

To grow and strengthen our position, we have increased our site numbers to five. This includes our fast track centre in Leicester and our London site, which is currently in the planning process to create a purpose-built facility.

We currently employ over 100 employees and we are proud to be the approved bodyshop for manufacturers Ford, Honda, MG and Mistsubishi. We are also approved by a number of insurers including LV=, Covea, Allianz and esure.

Our Managing Director Steve Warner says: “Our success so far has been achieved through the hard work and dedication of all our employees and previous Directors.

“Going forward we have the appetite for further growth, without losing customer focus; and keeping our positive relationships with our work providers. We will continue to train and develop our team in order to improve our service and efficiencies.

“It has been a challenging time, but we are now in a strong operational position to successfully manage our future plans and developments. Here’s to the next 15 years!”
